Under the direction of the Vice President of Analytics & Slot Operations, the incumbent conducts marketing & operations research projects that include developing survey instruments, analyzing research data (qualitative, quantitative, and occasionally data from secondary sources), report research findings, and make insightful and actionable recommendations to the Executive & Operations Teams. Bachelor's degree required, Master's Degree preferred; degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, engineering or social sciences preferred. Hospitality, Leisure, Gaming, and Consumer related experience preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar role or an advanced degree in a quantitative discipline or related field with a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar role. Experience creating and maintaining large datasets for analysis and data insights. Experience developing, automating and maintaining data visualizations. Experience with testing methodologies, statistics and econometric techniques.
Works closely with MIS, Marketing and Operations in the extraction and manipulation of large databases, quantitative analysis, preparation of business and sales plans, promotion response modeling, incentive modeling and resource allocation. Provide support and analysis on individual property, multiple properties and total company as needed. High level of proficiency in statistical analysis software such as SAS, SPSS, Python, R, or STATA, SAS preferred. Experience building BI framework and data visualizations using SAS-VA, Tableau, Google Analytics or similar software, SAS VA preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite: Excel, Excel VBA, Word, Power Point, experience in VBA preferred. Understanding of relational databases and ability to program in SQL. Must have solid presentation & communication skills.
