Responsibilities

Internal Facing:
  • Execute on the MAXIMUS digital strategy as developed and approved in late 2017 and lead the process by which the strategy is kept current
  • Drive the adoption of standards, supporting digital best practices, and achieving key business goals
  • Develop ways to attract and retain top talent as necessary to deliver on the digital strategy
  • Lead the governance and oversight function for the implementation and execution of the digital strategy
  • Be the ""executive intermediary"" during delivery, acting as a coach, and serving as tiebreaker during the rollout of digital capabilities
  • Perform research, analyze data, develop key insights and action plans, and provide recommendations for budgetary adjustments based on implementation results
  • Partner with the Chief of Human Capital and Operational leaders to address the change management and cultural areas of the organization

External Facing:
  • Serve as client-facing expert and consultative SME to articulate and promote the company's digital strategy and initiatives
  • Prepare white papers, marketing documentation, and represent MAXIMUS' capabilities at media events and speaking engagements to shape the MAXIMUS digital brand globally
  • Develop relationship with state and national government agency CIO's, policy makers, and industry peers in order to better understand market trends and matching those trends out with capabilities
  • Assure that MAXIMUS is ready for future innovations through hiring the right people, acquiring capabilities or partnering with industry leaders with their focus on external trends and new technologies
  • Architect digital strategies and solutions driven by our clients' needs as part of the responsibility for leading the continued evolutions and refinement of our digital strategy

The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Additional Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in technology or relevant field of study from a nationally recognized college or university
Minimum of 15 years of related experience and a career that demonstrates consistent success and upward mobility
Proven track record of delivering on corporate strategic initiatives related to technology
Ability to nurture and retain client and employee relationships
Demonstrated understanding of relevant digital technology and capabilities to include artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, social, cloud computing, robotics, and data analytics
Strong written, presentation, and communication skills
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to think strategically and make innovative recommendations that drive attainment of goals and objectives
High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
