Exovera LLC ( a wholly-owned subsidiary of SOSi, is seeking to hire a Business Development Executive reporting directly to the CEO.This position, based in Reston, VA, is an incredible opportunity to work with big data and artificial intelligence systems that were developed to meet government and military IO objectives and recently customized for the commercial sector.
The successful candidate must demonstrate strong entrepreneurial skills and have a proven track record selling application software and data solutions to global Fortune 2000 companies, trade associations, election groups, lobbying organizations and public relations firms.
  • Plan – develop global business plan, target territory and account plans, and annual/quarterly forecasts tied to company revenue objectives.
  • Sell – identify, contact, promote, qualify, and close new sales for Exovera’s products.
  • Lead – Build and manage an international sales team and distribution network capable of marketing and selling the Exovera product line.
  • Manage – maintain strong business relationships with all new/existing clients to optimize customer satisfaction and repeat sales opportunities. Utilize on-line CRM to maintain up-to-date customer profiles, sales opportunities and forecasts.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Media, Communications or related field
  • 7+ years sales experience with proven track record of successful growth
  • Experience selling complex software solutions priced between 100K-$1M on a recurring basis
  • Verifiable history of accountability, perseverance and over-quota achievement
  • Professional attributes required to lead complex sales initiatives
  • Strong existing business relationships with customers in target industries
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit that makes you comfortable being challenged and taking on calculated business risks
  • Command of a value-centric sales approach that allows you to establish highly profitable customer relationships that renew year after year
  • Strong task-orientation with problem-solving skills that allow you to operate as an autonomous member of the team
  • Disciplined sales data collection, reporting and analytics via CRM, MS Office as well as experience with social media
  • Excellent verbal, writing, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong research, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Public relations experience a plus
  • International sales experience a plus
  • Government/military contracting business development experience a plus
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time.
